As part of the project “Glass Challenge – The Bell is Calling,” implemented by the Republic Marketing Agency in cooperation with the Environmental Protection Fund of the Federation of BiH and Ekopak, educational and entertaining promotional events were held in Novi Travnik and Bihać.

During the events, citizens had the opportunity to learn more about the importance of recycling glass packaging and how to properly dispose of glass in designated containers. Particularly encouraging was the participation of numerous schools and kindergartens—children learned about recycling through games, workshops, and educational activities, and received symbolic gifts.

The project “Glass Challenge – The Bell is Calling” was carried out in four local communities: Konjic, the Municipality of Ilidža, Novi Travnik, and Bihać. Throughout all the promotional events, attended by hundreds of citizens, visits by school and kindergarten children were organized, and a total of around 1,200 tons of glass packaging was collected.

This project demonstrated that through the joint efforts of institutions, companies, and citizens, we can significantly contribute to environmental protection and the improvement of the recycling system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
