This year, Ekopak once again supported the implementation of the “Recycle Me. Give Me a New Life” project, organized by Coca-Cola in BiH in cooperation with Mercator, Konzum, and the Pika Card system.

The aim of this environmental initiative was to raise public awareness about the importance of proper disposal and recycling of plastic packaging.

Over the course of six Saturdays, from June 14 to July 19, 2025, citizens had the opportunity to bring used plastic bottles to selected Mercator and Konzum stores in Sarajevo, Zenica, Mostar, Tuzla, and Banja Luka, and in return receive benefits through the Pika loyalty system.

Thanks to the efforts of Ekopak and cooperation with partner public and private utility companies, all PET packaging collected in Sarajevo, Zenica, Mostar, and Tuzla was properly recycled, literally giving the packaging a new life.

A total of 16,534 kilograms of PET packaging was collected, representing a significant contribution to environmental protection and the promotion of the circular economy.

Ekopak extends its gratitude to all citizens who participated in the campaign, as well as to the partners who made it possible for every bottle to return to the recycling system. Together, we continue to build a sustainable future.
