Ekopak supported action by PUC Standard from Konjic celebrating Earth Day (22. april).

As part of this acton, educational workshops were held for the youngest on the topic "The Importance of Waste Separation". Children from "Zulejha Begeta" kindergarten hung out with Zekopak, learned about recycling, competed in proper disposal of packaging waste game and received picture books and diplomas as gifts for their efforts.

It should be noted that all the schools and kindergartens that participated in this activity received bins for waste separation from Ekopak and seedlings were planted in their yards.

The aim of these workshops was to explain in an interesting and fun way to the youngest inhabitants of Konjic why waste separation is important and how to do it correctly.

Since its foundation, Ekopak has been celebrating important dates such as Earth Day and World Environment Day, and organizes a large number of educational and entertaining workshops for preschool and school-aged children.

"We believe that it is important that children understand the importance of preserving the environment from an early age and that waste separation plays an important role in that process. That's why we decided to support the action "For my city Konjic" and join in celebrating Earth Day in this way", said managing director of Ekopak, Amela Hrbat and added that as part of its educational and entertaining workshops for preschool and school-aged children Ekopak from 2012 hosted more than 80,000 children.

As part of this visit to Konjic, managing director Amela Hrbat held a meeting with the director of PUC Standard Konjic, Mr. Samir Memić, where the improvement of cooperation was discussed. After that, Mrs. Hrbat and Mr. Memić held a meeting with the mayor of Konjic, Mr. Osman Ćatić, whom they introduced to this project and plans for the future. Mayor Ćatić supported this cooperation.

Ekopak continues to work on the development of the packaging waste recycling system and education of the youngest is a significant segment of our activities.
