As of today, the Second Gymnasium Sarajevo from Sarajevo is in the packaging waste management system. Ekopak supported the project of students Tarik Filipović and Haris Gološ from the "International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program" who were obliged to choose a topic for their personal projects that is interesting to them, but also will provide something useful for others.

For this project, Tarik decided to provide bins for separating packaging waste, so Ekopak provided four sets of bins that will be placed on each floor of the school. Haris solved the issue of packaging waste separation within his classroom, so Ekopak provided one set of bins for his project. Also, the company Papir  Servis, which is one of the collectors in the Ekopak system  will take over packaging waste from the Second Gymnasium, prepare it and transport it for recycling, so plastic and paper from this school will no longer end up in landfills but in the recycling process.

One of the important missions of Ekopak is to educate children about the importance of recycling packaging waste as well as environmental protection in general. Therefore, we are always glad when we have the opportunity to support projects such as those designed by Tarik and Haris from the Second Gymnasium.
