In the premises of the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber, a round table was held on the topic ''Options for dealing with plastic packaging in the food and beverage value chain". The round table was organized as part of a regional project implemented by the United Nations Center for Sustainable Consumption and Production (UN SCP / RAC) in Bosnia and Herzegovina with its partner consulting firm ENOVA, which aims to reduce the plastic footprint in the food sector.

This event was also attended by Ekopak expert for recycling sistem Arman Sekeric, with presentation "Contribution of the producer's extended liability system to improving the management of plastic packaging waste". On this occasion, the main achievements in packaging waste management were presented, the activities that Ekopak is currently working on, as well as the challenges it faces on the road to more efficient waste management.

The roundtable was attended by a number of stakeholders within the value chain, including representatives of institutions and authorities at various administrative levels, companies within the food sector, retail chains, packaging manufacturers and suppliers, waste management companies, research institutions and NGOs.
