Cooperation between FMI and Ekopak-Federal Ministry of Interior has joined the waste paper recycling system

The Federal Ministry of the Interior (FMI) has decided to become actively involved in the system of separate packaging waste collection and recycling.

Thus, in cooperation with the first authorized operator of the packaging waste management system in BiH Ekopak, this institution has organized the collection and disposal of its waste paper to recycling.

In this regard, Ekopak handed over 80 waste paper collection bins to FMUP, which will be placed on FMUP premises.

"We are delighted that this important institution has also become involved in the recycling system and has contributed to the preservation of our environment and the improvement of the packaging waste recycling system in our country" ,said Amela Hrbat, Director of Ekopak.

With this taken action, FMUP has been actively involved in improving the existing waste management system and recycling process, as well as in preserving our environment.

"Our goal is, for the Federal Ministry of the Interior, to serve as an example to all other institutions in order to take the initiative and actively participate in the process of environmental protection and thus contribute to the regulation of our environment," said Minister Aljoša Čampara.
