Sarajevo, June 28, 2018. - Today was organized the award ceremony for 15 most successful students from high schools across the country, who participated in this year's program "Young Eco Reporters". Thanks to EKOPAK, this Program has been implemented since last year in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The program is international character and implemented in close to 30 countries with the aim of engaging young people aged 14-18 to explore environmental issues and report them through written, photographic or video records and, wherever possible, to propose solutions. The program develops the skills and knowledge of young people, provides them with a deeper understanding of sustainable development and environmental protection, strengthens their communication and civic skills, personal initiative, teamwork, critical analysis, social responsibility and leadership abilities.
 
Since spring 2018, MUNJA Incubator has become an official representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the International Environmental Education Foundation, which, in addition to the YER Program, also has a licensed EKOSCHOOLS program that will start in Bosnia and Herzegovina from the next school year.
 
A total of 69 artworks from 39 high schools from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the competition. The first and second place in each category will receive a prize-winning visit to the 46th International Tourist Una regatta.
 
The awards were delivered by the representatives of EKOPAK and company Telemach, which is a partner of the program, and the entire program is organized by the MUNJA Incubator of Social Innovation and the Info platform Hocu.ba. In the coming days, award-winning artworks will be presented at Hocu.ba and Ekopak Facebook page.
