Educational Project "The Planet's smile is in Your Hands" started in Municipality of Vogosca

Municipality of Vogosca and Ekopak today started the educational project "The Planet's Smile is in Your Hands".

This educational project is part of the project "Establishment and Development of Primary Packaging Waste Selection in the Municipality of Vogosca", which started in 2015 by setting up seven eco-islands for separate disposal of packaging waste in this Municipality. It aims at raising citizens awareness of the importance of separate disposal and recycling of packaging waste.

The project will include 3rd and 4th grade students of all elementary schools in Vogosca Municipality. Through interactive workshops the youngest will learn how and why they should separate packaging waste into eco-islands located in their settlements, and they should educate their parents. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and participate in quiz that will be organized after completed workshops. Ekopak will award the best students with attractive prizes. More details can be obtained from pedagogues in their schools.

Project educators are members of NGO "Eco Team" from Sarajevo.
