In the Municipality of Travnik today is signed an agreement on co-financing of the project "Do not hesitate, throw PET"

The contract was signed by the Mayor of Travnik Admir Hadziemric and the Manager of Ekopak Amela Hrbat.

The subject of the contract is the co-financing of promotional activities within the project "Do not hesitate, throw PET"; conducted by Municipality of Travnik, Faculty of Ecology of the International University in Travnik and Eco Industrial Waste company "ZIZI" Travnik, in cooperation with all primary schools in this Municipality.

The aim of the project is to educate elementary school pupils about the importance of packaging waste recycling through the collection of PET packaging. In the forthcoming phases, the project will include the collection of other types of recyclable materials, the establishment of eco-islands, and a public campaign.
The Municipality of Travnik and Ekopak will provide initial funds to initiate the Project. International University in Travnik will, in co-operation with Ekopak, organize education for students, while Eco Industrial Waste "ZIZI" will set up containers for collecting usable materials in every school, and perform regular collection and transport of useful materials.
