During the interview, Hrbat presented the results Ekopak has achieved through the development of the separate packaging waste collection and recycling system, as well as activities implemented in cooperation with public utility companies, waste collectors, businesses and other partners.

A significant part of the discussion focused on the role of local communities and public utility companies, whose involvement is essential for the further development of packaging waste collection infrastructure and for increasing the quantities of packaging waste separated from municipal waste and directed to recycling.

Hrbat also discussed the importance of continuous investment in equipment, vehicles, recycling yards and other capacities, as well as the need to continue educating citizens and children alongside the development of infrastructure.

The appearance on BHT Live was another opportunity to explain to the wider public how the packaging waste recycling system operates and to highlight the importance of cooperation among all stakeholders involved in its development.
