"Let's protect the environment, that's our strength. We learn through play, and it's called recycling!" sang the children together during an educational workshop held July 21, 2026. at a kindergarten in Vareš.

The workshop was organized following an agreement with the kindergarten's management and representatives of the Vareš Public Institution Centre for Culture and Education, as part of the VarešArt Festival 2026 programme.

Through games, songs, and fun activities, Ekopak representatives introduced children to the importance of proper packaging waste disposal and recycling. The children learned how to correctly separate different types of packaging waste, how the recycling process works, and why it is important to develop good environmental habits from an early age.

A particularly exciting activity was the interactive packaging waste sorting game, during which the children demonstrated how carefully they had followed the educational session. They also coloured themed colouring books, sang, and danced with Zekopak, Ekopak's mascot, who once again proved to be the favourite guest among the youngest participants.

In recognition of their successful participation, all children received certificates, and the event concluded with a group photo together with Zekopak.

Workshops like these demonstrate that children can develop important habits related to the proper separation of packaging waste through play and carry those habits into their families and local communities.
