More than 40 first-grade students from OŠ Mehmed Handžić in Sarajevo participated in an educational and entertaining Ekopak workshop dedicated to packaging waste recycling.

Through games, songs, and interactive activities, the children learned how to separate packaging waste, enthusiastically repeating together what should be disposed of in the blue, yellow, and green bins. A particularly engaging part of the workshop was the rapid packaging waste sorting game, through which the children practically demonstrated their newly acquired knowledge.

Following the educational part of the programme, the children spent time with Zekopak, coloured educational colouring books, and at the end, all students received certificates for successfully completing the workshop.

On this occasion, Ekopak also provided 240-litre bins for the separation of plastic and paper packaging waste, which were placed in the Eco Corner of the Mehmed Handžić School Centre. The bins will serve for continuous education and the development of positive packaging waste separation practices among students, from preschool to secondary school age.
