During the interview, special emphasis was placed on the fact that a significant portion of European legislation relates directly to environmental protection, further confirming the importance of developing an efficient packaging waste recycling system and aligning Bosnia and Herzegovina with European practices.

Hrbat discussed the role of Ekopak as the first and leading PRO in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the results achieved in the recent period, as well as the importance of cooperation with public utility companies, local communities, and the business sector in the development of the selective collection system for packaging waste.

The interview also presented examples of concrete activities implemented by Ekopak in the field, with the aim of separating as much packaging waste as possible from municipal waste and directing it into the recycling process.
