In cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Environmental Protection of the Herzegovina Neretva Canton, The Environment Fund of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, and the festival organizer – the Association Zvončica – a plastic packaging waste collection campaign was implemented during the festival. Visitors who brought five or more pieces of plastic packaging waste received vouchers worth 5 BAM, promoting in a practical way the importance of proper packaging waste disposal and recycling.

With the support of volunteers, Ekopak organized the collection of plastic packaging waste at its stand and mobile stations, while also educating different groups of citizens about the proper separation and disposal of packaging waste. Through direct communication with visitors, the importance of citizen participation in the development of the recycling system was further promoted.
