Ekopak Presents Results at the Regional EU4Green Workshop
Ekopak participated in a regional workshop organized within the EU4Green project, where, on Earth Day, April 22, it presented its work and long-standing results in the field of packaging waste management in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The workshop, held in Sarajevo, brought together experts and institutional representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Albania, with the aim of exchanging experiences and advancing the development of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system.
As part of the programme, Ekopak presented its operational model and business results. The focus of the presentation was on practical experience and the implementation of solutions that contribute to more efficient system performance in practice.
The day after the workshop, on April 23, a study visit was organized to locations that are part of the packaging waste management system. Participants visited the recycling yard in Ilijaš, operated by KJKP Rad, as well as the company Rudar Kompany in Breza, which is engaged in the collection and recycling of certain types of packaging waste.
Ekopak’s participation in such regional events confirms its active role in the development of the packaging waste management system and in the exchange of best practices at the regional level.
