As part of the “Radost” Children’s Festival, held on October 11 in Sarajevo, Ekopak organized an educational and entertaining workshop for children, aiming to teach them in a creative and accessible way about packaging waste recycling and environmental protection.

In the creative corner, the little participants had the opportunity to turn packaging waste into their own “works of art,” demonstrating that packaging waste can become a valuable material when used properly. During the fast waste-sorting competition, children had fun while showcasing their knowledge of bin colors and the types of packaging that belong in each one.

A special highlight was the large board game “Recycling Is Not a Hassle,” which attracted many children and, through play and laughter, reminded them of the importance of recycling.
Throughout the event, educational materials were distributed, and the atmosphere was further brightened by the presence of Ekopak’s mascot, Zekopak, who brought smiles and excitement to both children and parents.

Ekopak continues its activities focused on educating children and young people, as it is from the youngest generations that habits are formed — habits that lead to a more responsible and sustainable attitude toward packaging waste and the environment.
