As part of its cooperation with the Association “Partnership for Healthy Aging”, Ekopak provided support to the Center for Healthy Aging Ilidža by helping renovate its outdoor yard.

The initiative included a yard-cleaning action and flower planting, in which the Center’s users and around twenty preschool children from the Amel and Nur kindergarten participated together.

In addition to the planting activities, Ekopak prepared a fun and educational workshop for the children. Through interactive games, a cartoon screening about recycling, and socializing with the Zekopak mascot, the youngsters learned about the importance of proper packaging waste disposal. At the end of the workshop, all participants received commemorative diplomas as a reminder of their new knowledge and experiences.

A special value of this activity was the interaction between the Center’s users, who belong to the so-called third age, and the preschool children. Joint work on planting and creative workshops showed that recycling can also serve as a bridge between generations, creating a sense of togetherness and responsibility toward the environment.

Additionally, Ekopak delivered two sets of containers for collecting paper and plastic packaging, which will be placed in the Centers for Healthy Aging in Ilidža and Hrasnica.

With this example, Ekopak once again confirmed its commitment to raising awareness about the importance of packaging waste recycling and the necessity of sustainable living – from the youngest to the oldest members of society.
