The first and leading operator for packaging waste management system in Bosnia and Herzegovina "Ekopak" has prepared a surprise for our youngest citizens.

As part of celebration of the World Environment Day, "Ekopak" has prepared an entertaining and educational program for children, which will be held on Sunday, June 5, in the Pioneer Valley in Sarajevo, from 12 to 14 hours.

World Environment Day will be marked through dance, interactive games and entertainment, the most successful in the games will win special prizes. In addition, the Pioneer Valley will be visited by Zekopak, the face of Ekopak, whose task is to pass on knowledge to children about recycling packaging waste and how each child can contribute to this process.

This event is being implemented within the Ekopak project "Month of the Ekopak Caravan". The caravan travels throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and teaches important lessons to children, but also provides the opportunity to win interesting prizes.

Ekopak's entertainment caravan has so far visited Posušje, Ključ, Tomislavgrad, Gračanica and Sarajevo, and will continue its journey to other cities and municipalities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"World Environment Day is an exceptional opportunity to pass on important lessons and knowledge to the youngest citizens, who will spend their day in the beautiful surroundings of the Pioneer Valley. Since Ekopak is the leading authorized operator of packaging waste management in BiH and a company whose main business is the recycling of packaging waste, which directly participates in environmental protection, it is our obligation to work with children on such dates. Each workshop and interactive approach with children reminds us how important it is to work on raising awareness, but also how motivated children are to participate in the most important processes" said Ekopak managing director Amela Hrbat, emphasizing that Ekopak is celebrating 10 years of successful business this year.
