Ekopak supported Bjelašnica and Igman mountains ''waste cleaning action''

Ekopak supported another cleaning action in Sarajevo Canton. Organized by KJP "ZOI 84" of the Olympic Center Sarajevo, Initiative for Bjelasnica and Igman mountains, the Ski Association of BiH and magazine BH sportlife a large action of cleaning ski slopes, parking lots and green areas in the area of Babin Do and Malo polje took place on on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

The collected bulky waste was collected by ZOI and KJKP Rad and transferred to the landfill, so Saturday's action was the final phase of the spring cleaning of our Olympic beauties. On this occasion, Ekopak informed the volunteers about activities related to the improvement of the recycling system in FBiH and rewarded the youngest volunteers who participated in waste collection with appropriate gifts.

Support for this cleaning action on Bjelašnica is a continuation of our activities to mark World Environment Day, in which we introduced Bjelave Student Dormitory into the recycling system and in cooperation with students cleaned the green areas of the dormitory and planted a flower island.
