Within a framework of action ''Clean and nice Vogošća'' Ekopak awarded schools for taking part in collection of package material waste

In a municipality Vogošća, for nine years in a row, an action ‘’Clean and nice Vogošća’’ is held.  This year over 800 volunteers took part in the action, and a huge amount of garbage and waste was collected, a few illegal waste dump were removed, and an afforestation of particular locations was realized.

On this occasion, the municipality Vogošća organized an assignment of certifications and occasional gifts for students, teachers and schools for held municipal contest, and within a framework of this event Ekopak gave awards to ground schools for taking part in collecting package material waste.

‘’This is a way to leave an impact on children’s conscious regarding significance of recycling package material waste and life in local community that is oriented towards this aim, and the municipality of Vogošća is one of those for sure. That is the reason, for which we support this project with all pleasure,’’ said the director of Ekopak Amela Hrbat.

It should be mentioned that the municipality Vogošća is recognized as one of socially responsible municipality that supports the system of recycling package material waste. That is why Ekopak invested funds for purchase of seven eco-islands that are placed at different locations in municipality. This enabled citizens to separate package material waste on a daily basis.
