The Center for Environmentally Sustainable Development (COOR) of Sarajevo started the implementation of the project "Together - Small and Large Environmental Guardians in the Municipality Center". The project was approved under the Western Balkans Local Democracy Program - ReLOaD, funded by the European Union, and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in partnership with the Municipality Center

Time planned for the implementation f the project is September 2018 - June 2019. Partners in the project are: EKOPAK d.o.o., (operator for packaging and packaging waste management), ZEOS eco-system d.o.o., (E-Waste Management Operator) and Center for HEalthy Aging of Municipality Centar.

Primary target group of the project are pupils and teachers of 5 primary schools in the area of the Municipality Center (Primary School Alija Nametak, Primary School Safvet.beg Bašagić, Primary School Hasan Kikić, Primary School Nafija Sarajlić and Primary School Silvije Strahimir Kranjčević). The second target group are users of the Center for Healthy Aging and 6 Local Communities Councilswhere Primary School and Center are located.

Within the scope of the planned activities, the COOR will focus mainly on the analysis of population surveys from the areas of the following Local Communities: Koševo II, Bardakčije, Oslobođenje-Centar Square, Ciglane-Gorica, Marijin Dvor-Crni Vrh and Mejtaš Bjelave. As the environment has no boundaries, all citizens from the area of ​​the Municipality Center can participate in the survey.
