June 5th - World Environment Day celebrated with youth in Breza

Breza, 05.06.2017. - In cooperation with NGO "March 20, 1990", Ekopak celebrated the June 5th - World Environmental Day with youth from Breza. The youngest activists of this association have organized a street promotion to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection. On that occasion, information material and eco-bags were distributed to citizens in order to reduce the use of plastic bags.

Municipality of Breza is one of the 17 municipalities where Ekopak established cooperation, and June 5th was an opportunity to once again draw attention to the citizens to separately dispose packaging waste in the containers which are delivered by PUC "Komunalno Breza", Breza Municipality and Ekopak.

Otherwise, each year in the world the June 5th is marked as the day of the United Nations Conference held in Stockholm in 1972, where the United Nations Environment Program was adopted.
