Young Eco Reporters project in Tuzla

Tuesday, 27.12.2016. - In the framework of the project Young Eco Reporters, was held the workshop in Gymnasium "Ismet Mujezinovic" in Tuzla. The workshop was attended by 20 official representatives of schools from Tuzla Canton, and around 50 students of high schools. Young people have shown great interest for the participation in the project.

It is a new project in Bosnia and Herzegovina which Ekopak organizes with NGO Munja Inkubator and their info platform Hocu.ba, under the license of international format. The program engages the young people aged 15 -21, who will explore questions, environmental issues and propose solutions in their local community by written, photo or video record. The program develops the skills and knowledge of young eco-reporters, giving them a deeper understanding of sustainable development and environmental protection, strengthening their communication and civic skills, personal initiative, teamwork, critical analysis, social responsibility and leadership skills.
