Released Ordinance on Amendments to the Ordinance on packaging and packaging waste management

In the Official Gazette of Federation BiH, number 28 from 10.04.2013 published Ordinance on Amendments to the Ordinance on packaging and packaging waste  management of Federation Bosnia andHerzegovina.

General amendments relating to:

  • The obligation of inclusion in system of packaging containing and / or contaminated by hazardous materials,
  • Obligation to end supplier / trader to include in the system  its own brands and products that import directly; for other products that they sell, are required to provide a proof from suppliers that included in the system their packaging,
  • Introduces the obligation of annual reporting on the amount of packaging of the Fund for Environmental Protection of FBiH, regardless of participation in the system through a licensed operator
  • Introduction of the obligation to pay the so-called evidence fees in the amount of 0,002 KM / kg of packaging for administrative costs of the Fund for Environmental Protection of FBiH,
  • defines additional criteria for operator of the system for packaging waste management ,
  • A new form of the annual reporting is defined,
  • Defines specific targets for recycling and / or recovery per packaging materials for the period 2014 - 2016
