Children from Zenica through performance sent a message about the importance of recycling

Along with the PI Preschool education Zenica, Ekopak supported the children from Zenica by providing them transport, preparation and participation in the ''Children Fair'' which is held in Sarajevo's sports center Skenderija from 14.-16. November.

Children from kindergarten ''Pinokio'' from Zenica performed the dance on „Let it go“ – the theme song from movie ''Frozen'', and the costumes and sets are made of recyclable materials. To create a scene and costumes they spent over 500 square meters of nylon film and paper, and the costumes are made of 20,000 nodes.

Through this performance, the children want to send the message that packaging material can be costume, scene and toy. Using packaging in their daily work they preserve the environment and directly educate other children. This performance won the award from Bosnian National Theatre in Zenica.

Performance is created by Erna Čunjalo – choreography, Nevenka Begić – costumes and Zijada Kurtodža-Vučak – scenography, technical support and coordination.

Kids got symbolic gifts from Ekopak.
