At festival locations, the eco patrols collect packaging waste, distribute informational leaflets, and speak with citizens and tourists about the importance of recycling. The initiative has attracted considerable attention, with many visitors stopping to ask questions and enthusiastically supporting the campaign.

The positive response demonstrates that major public events, in addition to their cultural and social significance, also provide an excellent opportunity to encourage positive habits and raise awareness about recycling.

The eco patrols are part of Ekopak's ongoing activities aimed at educating the public and supporting the development of a culture of separate packaging waste collection. Once again, the Sarajevo Film Festival has shown that culture, community, and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
