Big Boxes. Small Hands. A Valuable Lesson.
One of Ekopak's core missions since its establishment has been to educate children about the importance of proper packaging waste disposal and recycling.
Through workshops, visits to schools and kindergartens, educational materials, and numerous projects, we strive to help the youngest generations develop habits that will stay with them for life.
That is why photos like these are especially meaningful to us. Whenever our partners share moments like these, we know that together we are helping raise generations who understand that packaging waste is not rubbish, but a valuable resource that can be directed to recycling through proper separation.
The photos show children independently placing cardboard packaging into the blue recycling bin. The box may be almost bigger than they are, but they already know exactly where it belongs.
Children do not learn only from books. They learn by observing adults and by developing habits through everyday examples. That is why we believe that education from an early age is one of the most important steps in the development of the recycling system.
A child who learns today how to properly separate packaging waste will do it naturally tomorrow.
