A meeting was held at the premises of PUC Vitkom Vitez, attended by Ekopak Director Amela Hrbat, Vitkom Director Jasna Babić, Assistant Director Ranko Križanović, Occupational Safety and Environmental Protection Engineer Mara Matić, and the Municipal Inspector of the Municipality of Vitez, Tanja Pejović.

During the meeting, participants discussed the results achieved so far by JKP Vitkom in the collection of packaging waste, as well as opportunities for further improvement. Special emphasis was placed on the ways in which Ekopak can provide additional support to Vitkom in the development and strengthening of the packaging waste collection system within this local community.

Following the working session, the participants visited the Lucius transfer station site, as well as the new location where construction of a transfer station is currently underway. The new facility will also include a designated area for the sorting of packaging waste in the future.

Such meetings represent an important step toward the development and enhancement of packaging waste collection systems in local communities.
