The Young Eco Reporters Program is a licensed international program implemented in over 45 countries around the world with the aim of engaging young people aged 11-18 to research and report on environmental issues and problems through written materials, photography or video and whenever possible to propose solutions.

In order to engage and motivate young people to apply for the competition, Munja Inkubator and Eco-Schools organized two Meetups for high school students. The meetings were attended by 50 school students who are included in the Eco-school program from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main goal of the Meetups was to explain and give information about competition and its propositions, topics and individual categories. Last year's winning works were also presented.

The students who attended the meeting presented their ideas for further promotion of the competition and were given the opportunity to apply to FEE Academy to further develop their skills and learn all about photojournalism with experts in the field.

The competition, as well as the program itself, develops the skills and knowledge of young people, provides them with a deeper understanding of sustainable development and environmental protection, strengthens their communication and civic skills, personal initiative, teamwork, critical analysis, social responsibility and leadership skills.
