Seventh-grade students at Marko Marulić Elementary School in Prozor Rama had the opportunity to participate in an inspiring educational and entertaining workshop organized by Ekopak.

The workshop aimed to educate young people about the importance of recycling packaging waste and to encourage them to actively participate in separate disposal of packaging waste in their municipality.

During the workshop, students had the opportunity to learn about the basic concept of recycling packaging waste and why this process is crucial for environmental protection. Through an interactive presentation, they familiarized themselves with the process of sorting and recycling packaging waste, learning which types of packaging materials should be separated and disposed of in blue, yellow, and green recycling bins.

One of the most interesting parts of the workshop was a knowledge quiz, which allowed students to test their newly acquired knowledge about recycling. Following that, a practical activity ensued in which students competed in sorting packaging waste, demonstrating their skills and engagement in practice.

Special emphasis was placed on interactivity and fun, so students had the opportunity to solve an eco-crossword puzzle, further reinforcing their knowledge of environmental preservation in an engaging way.

At the end of the workshop, the best teams were rewarded with appropriate gifts, while all participants received Ekopak ambassador diplomas as recognition for their participation, as well as brochures titled "Everything You (Didn't) Know About Recycling," providing them with additional information on this important topic.

Ekopak pays special attention to educating young people in its numerous activities, targeting preschool and school-age children, and today's workshop in Prozor-Rama is one of the many held throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
