Breza Municipality enters in Ekopak’s Green Dot System and gets 15 eco-islands
After municipalities of Bihać, Gračanica,
Orašje, Donji Vakuf, Kladanj, Ključ and Olovo, Breza Municipality is the 8th municipality where Ekopak establishes a system of separate collection and
recycling of packaging waste.
The Agreement of cooperation is sign by the
Assistant Chief for the economy of the Breza Municipality Mr. Salih Hasanspahić,
the director of public utility company Komunalno from Breza Mr. Esmir Bulbulušić and
director of Ekopak Mrs. Amela Hrbat.
Ekopak will ensure 15 yellow bells for
Breza Municipality in order to establish 15 eco-islands and also Ekopak will co-finance
the arranging of the surface on which eco-islands will be placed. Ekopak will conduct educational activities with the aim to
increase awareness of the importance of separate collection and recycling of
packaging waste.
