“Buy the Eco Brick” Project Successfully Implemented
The income from the humanitarian and ecological project “Buy the Eco Brick” is handed over to Association “Heart for Cancer Struggling Children” in FBiH, to build a house near the hospital in Sarajevo for parents of the children to stay in.
Bricks are used to build recycling bins for waste separation which are installed on the area of Sarajevo ZOO. Same recycling bins are also installed in national park "Vrelo Bosne" near Sarajevo, and will be instelled in the yard of mentioned house for the parents.
The project is organized by Ecoton and implemented with help of Ekopak for all citizens of Sarajevo to use these recycling bins and to develop the habit of separate disposal of packaging waste.
