NEWSLETTER FOR 1st QUARTER OF 2020.

First of all we hope that the new issue of our newsletter finds you in good health and in a safe environment due to emergency situation caused by pandemic COVID 19 virus.

This situation has been a challenge for us on many levels. Unfortunately, crisis is not an unknown term in Ekopak's business. We faced many similar situations before and among them is our experience from 2016. when the responsible ministry for our business segment repealed the Packaging Waste Management Ordinance. We proved then that with our knowledge, experience and strategic actions Ekopak can cope with all crisis challenges. Although the pandemic crisis has spread across the world and all its consequences can't be known, we see it as a new challenge to overcome.

In our daily work, we follow the instructions of the competent authorities and take all other measures to preserve our business and established packaging waste management system in the Federation of BiH. In collaboration with our partners involved in the waste collection, preparation and  recycling, we take efforts to maintain the system. Despite the difficult situation, our partners are on the ground and perform their every day activities, collecting packaging waste and transporting it for recycling.

Projects involving the presence of large numbers of people, working with schools, etc. are currently put on hold, but we strive to maintain this significant segment of our business on a daily basis using all available channels of communication (Facebook, LinkedIN, Instagram, Web ...).

We are at disposal on daily basis to our appreciated customers, manufacturers, importers, distributors and end suppliers for all their inquiries in the hope that we will, even under these difficult conditions, continue to cooperate and develop our system through a joint effort.

Below, you can find out more about the activities in the first quarter of this year. We hope that you will enjoy reading about them as much as we enjoyed in their organisation and implementation.

Kind regards and stay healthy!

Amela Hrbat,

Managing Director
