NEWSLETTER FOR 4th QUARTER OF 2019.

During the last three months of 2019, Ekopak has carried out a number of significant activities and, in addition to its excellent business results, we have also received "Bisnode Certificate of Excellence" Business Quality Award.

The mere fact that in 2012, when we started operations we met the target of 8% of packaging waste delivered for recycling and today that this percentage is more than 35%, tells us that we are slowly moving forward. In cooperation with our partners, we achieve better results every year. Thus, from 2012 to date, we have delivered over 70,000 tonnes of packaging waste for recycling. Of course, we must continue to improve the system, because it can not be established overnight; it is a process that is constantly growing and evolving, and is continuously improving.

Ekopak continues its activities regarding the introduction of state institutions in the recycling system. Having successfully established cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Interior (FMI/FMUP), the Federal Ministry of the Environment and Tourism has joined our system.

We participated at the 6th International Renewable Energy, Environmental and Water Management Fair - “RENEXPO BiH” where we presented the results.

One of the important segments in the functioning of the recycling system are the utility companies and therefore Ekopak pays special attention to them. In this regard, we held a meeting with representatives of public utility companies from Ekopak system. It should be emphasized that Ekopak has been cooperating with public utility companies since 2013 and is constantly developing its collector network with the aim of ending as little packaging waste as possible on landfills.

With our support Eco-Schools Program officially started with its activities in November through the first information seminar for participation of schools from all over BiH.

We marked ''European Waste Reduction Week'' through joint activities with the Ekotim and in cooperation with the L'OCCITANE brand, we organized a program to collect and recycle beauty product packaging.

We supported a number of events such as the General Assembly of the Association of High School Students BiH and the ITF European Taekwondo Championship with organized disposal bins and transportation of packaging waste for recycling.
