On Wednesday, 07 November 2012, ambassador of the Czech Republic in B&H, Mr. Tomáš Szunyog and First Secretary and Head of Commercial and Ecomomic Department  of the embassy of the Czech Republic, Mr. Vladimir Randaček, visited Ekopak.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of Ekopak Supervisory Board, Mr. Mircea Draja, member of the Supervisory Board, Mr. Nick Penny, and by Ekopak General Manager, Mrs. Amela Hrbat.

Reason for the visit of the Czech ambassador was succesful implementation of project of government of the Czech Republic „Aid for Trade“ that, apart from the adoption of Packaging Waste Management Ordinance of Federation BiH, based on the Czech Republic best practice, as well as establishment and authorization of Ekopak, first authorized system operator of packaging waste management in BiH, based on the experience of Czech EKOKOM. 

G. Szunyog expressed his sincere contentment that the project achieved its target, and proved once more the successful practice of the Czech Republic that reflected on efficient establishment of integrated system of packaging waste management in B&H.
