Sarajevo, 06.06.2017. - For the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina was realized the international program "Young Eco Reporters", in cooperation with info platform for youth "hocu.ba", social incubator "Munja" and Ekopak. The program has international character and it is implemented in more than 30 countries with the aim of engaging young people aged 14-18 to explore environmental issues and report them through written, photographic or video records and, wherever possible, to propose solutions.

In the preliminary activities were held workshops in high schools in Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla, Travnik and Bihac, which were attended by professors and students who are educated on how to participate in the program, after which is opened the official call for participation with detailed instructions on Ekopak's and info platform "hocu.ba" webpages.
 
The students from 42 high schools from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina showed the great interest for program and have sent 70 artworks in deadline, which proved their awareness of environmental problems. Students sent artworks in some of the three categories: article, photography or photo-reportage, short video.
 
The award ceremony with the 15 most successful students was held in Sarajevo (Networks Center) on June 6th 2017, starting at 14:00. The awards were presented by representatives of Ekopak and Telemach, who is a partner of the program.
