After the workshops which are held in Sarajevo, Mostar, Tuzla, Travnik and Bihac, it is officially opened Call for participation in the national contest for high schools "Young Eco Reporters". The Young Eco Reporters is international project which is implemented in around 30 countries, with the aim to engage young people from 14-18 years old to explore environmental questions and issues and report them through written, photographic or video record, and whenever possible to propose solutions. The program develops the skills and knowledge of young people, providing them a deeper understanding of sustainable development and environmental protection, it strengthens their communication and civic skills, personal initiative, teamwork, critical analysis, social responsibility and leadership skills.

The artworks can be in one of three categories:

1. ARTICLE (max. 1000 words)

2. PHOTO / PHOTO ESSAY

3. SHORT VIDEO (up to 3 minutes)

The 15 best contestants (5 from each category) will be invited to the announcement ceremony of the winners in Sarajevo in the end of May.

First place in each category receives tablets + paid study visit in one of the EU countries.

Second place in each category receives a paid study visit in one of the EU countries.

From the third to fifth places in each category, contestants will receive a special package MER.
